Hello All.
Think I have missed a couple of days posting.
I WAS going to post yesterday.
Had a long meeting with our security company.
About strengthening our security.
Then, a friend popped in yesterday at about 2:00.
Brought fresh cup cakes.
Yummy.
She left just before 5:00.
Then it was wine time.
Enough said!
This morning I had to go and drill my Stepdad.
Our complex manager is involved with SA Military Veterans Association.
He spoke to them about Dad.
They got very excited.
Obviously, there are very few veterans still around.
They want to come around on Dad’s birthday.
Give him a certificate making him an honoury member.
Assuring him he has not been forgotten.
So, I had to get all Dad’s details.
Where he served and in what division.
Get some photos.
Wonder if I can share one?
Just for fun.
Damn, I am getting good at this.
He is the one in the middle.

I’m so glad you’re having a better day today, Granny 😊. That’s brilliant news about your stepdad being honoured like that. You must be so proud of him. I love the photo. (It reminds me of one I saw of my late dad when he was in the army in Gibraltar). And I think, after the day you had a couple of days ago, it was very much in order to have wine and better still, in my view, cupcakes – yum! It’s as good an excuse as any – and why not!? Xx ☺
