Granny finally retires

And so it happened.
I retired on the 28th of February.
And I see I have not posted for nearly a year.
Where did the time go.

And I see things have changed.
Again.
Oh Dear, back to the drawing board.
I guess I will have to start learning new stuff.
Sigh.

Retiring has been strange.
And stressful.
I, no longer, get a salary.
Big downside.
I have been battling to get UIF.
For my overseas friends, this is our Unemployment fund.
You pay into it all your working life and your employer also contributes.
You are supposed to get some money back.
Hopefully, I will get that sorted out on Tuesday.
Hold thumbs for me.

We have a public holiday tomorrow.
I wasn’t even aware of it!

I, actually, have loads to talk about but I will save some for tomorrow.
If anyone is reading my post.
Which I doubt as it has been so long.
Subjects to come.
Our pathetic government who will not acknowledge the war in Ukraine.
Our pathetic Municipality.
No water for days.
I can go on.
And I will.

Stay safe.

Oh Dear.
How the hell do you add tags?

I found them.
Added two and then they vanished.
Shyte.

    • Hi Frannie. It is so frustrating. No-one answers the phone. Will have to go in and face a human. Hope that helps!!

      • Maybe “face a human down” will help. I’m cheering for you and would love to hear how it turns out.

      • I will definetly let you know.

  2. Hi Granny and welcome back. Yes, in the beginning retirement does seem strange but you quickly get used to having all that time to yourself. Not so easy to get used to not having a salary – – – take care. Look forward to hearing more from you.
