Hello All.
Relax, it wasn’t a snake.
I have no idea WHAT it was.
Probably a sneaky spider.
I suddenly got an itchy lump on my stomach.
Which made me think.
How did it GET to my tummy.
It had to have crawled past some of my intimate spots.
Horrors.
Our baby Plovers are doing well.
Do you know how hard it is to get a picture of a baby plover?
As soon as you point your camera the parents go ballistic.
And the baby runs.
And you get a picture of grass.
I loaded these photos via Windows at work.
Which is why they are so small.
Another lesson learned.
You might think the above pic is a bunch of weeds and grass.
But there IS a tortoise in there.
Since we moved here, Jasmine has seen three new things in her long life.
The first was the puffadder.
Which I wouldn’t let her examine.
The second was a cow.
She wasn’t too happy about them.
Too big for her liking.
The third was the tortoise.
She was intrigued.
She keeps looking for it when we go for our daily walk.
And, now I have to go and cook supper.
Hmmm, come to think of it, I am quite hungry.
Ha ha! your intimate parts. oh my gosh granny you are so funny. I think I would be more worried that it had to crawl past my face!!

If that bite doesn’t clear up right away, do get to a doctor at speed. Some of those spider bites fester away quietly to themselves until one has a REAL problem.
If our lot saw a tortoise, I think they’d bark at it all day until we all went barmy.

Col’s got a point ~ spider bites can be nasty. Glad that Jasmine is interested in befriending the tortoise and not the puffadder.

Don’t worry about the photo size, Granny. When I clicked on them, they morphed into a screen size photo. I saw the loving markings…aha a tortoise. Well, I said “turtle” – not sure if there is a difference. Something else for me to google.
Nice to be able to pop in and find you here, but I’m blogging about the same as you. After I blogged routinely for three years, I decided I wanted to get a life. It’s very distracting! 😀
A topic will pop into my head and the enthusiasm manages to slide right out of my soul by the time I get to the computer.

Poor Granny – bites of any kind are not nice.

I’m a month behind in seeing this post – by now I’m sure your bite is long gone. What an awful thought to have been bitten by a spider! I’ll bet Mex cringed a lot LOL. Love the sunset photo.
