I have just painted my nails.
This making typing very interesting.
To say the least.
Later.
Much later.
It is now 11:30pm.
I should be asleep.
We have just come back from having supper with friends.
The food was great.
The company was good.
Their house was incredible.
My goodness, how the other half live.
I counted three lounges.
There might have been more.
Back to my busy day.
If I can remember it all now.
Started off with a walk on the beach.
No clouds.
No wind.
Hardly any waves.
Very little to photograph.
Not that that has ever stopped me.
As you can see…there WAS a lot of kelp.
Then I headed over the mountain.
First stop was to have the car air conditioner seen to.
Turns out some bright spark removed the fuse.
It wasn’t me.
I didn’t even know an air conditioner had a fuse.
It was either the mechanic who serviced the car.
Recommended by younger son.
Or the guy who helped me at work when my headlight wasn’t working.
Then a quick visit to my favourite bookshop.
Where I found two books I really wanted.
And a flying visit to the supermarket.
Wendy arrives on Sunday and I wanted a couple of treats for her.
Then to the hairdresser.
I said “cut it short”
And she really did.
She went to town on it.
Mex prefers me with longer hair.
I don’t care.
I won’t even have to brush it now.
And I am going to save a fortune on shampoo.
From the hairdresser to the car wash.
Where my car had a haircut.
Well there was enough of Jasmine’s hair in the car to make a really big ginger wig.
My little yellow car looks brand new.
Jasmine can WALK to the beach tomorrow.
Or run behind the car.
From there to my son’s house to pick up a memory stick.
I have a thousand books to put on my e-reader.
Yes….ONE THOUSAND books.
Oh I didn’t tell you it had arrived.
Very cute.
Though I will still buy books.
I like books.
Back to the 1000 books.
Granted I won’t be reading them all.
A lot of The Hardy Boy books.
And Nancy Drew.
And Shakespeare.
But I might even have a peep at some of them too.
I am in book heaven.
I don’t know where to begin.
I swear this is the same bird that was showing off the other day.
I think he is stalking me.
Now…nite,nite all.

Why do we women always paint our nails before doing something which will for sure bodge them? Love your storker. 😉 Sleep well, and have a great weekend/ Hugs xx
Hi AD….ten out of ten for the storker!
That bird is just too cute! He looks like he is on a mission 😀 I do hope you enjoy your e-reader. Which one did you get? Sjoe! THREE lounges? Sounds like a hell of a lot of cleaning to me 😉
Hi Yada…three lounges seems like overkill to me…do they play musical chairs all evening?
Wow that sure was a busy day! Isn’t it wonderful to have a load of books to choose from? Gives one a cozy feeling…. 😉

They seem very expensive here!
Good grief Granny, I am tired after just reading this post!
