Granny is home

Hello All.

Yep, I am home.
Completely exhausted.
It must be emotion.
Can’t be jetlag from a less than two hour flight.

The above is a picture of East London.
Not very good but the best I could manage from the plane.

It was my first visit back to East London in ten years.
I didn’t see much.
The road from the airport and back.
It did not appear to have changed much.

Had to share this with you.
Just a part of the orchid plant near Wendy’s back door.
Absolutely stunning.
Her partner(lovely guy) has worked wonders with her garden.
I couldn’t get over the difference.

Wendy has three dogs.
Gaby…an alsatian she got just before I left.
Oh yes…Wendy and I shared a house for two years.
Now there are the two additions.
Both recued from dreadful circumstances.
Which gives you some insight into why I love her so much.

The one had a broken back.
He is very timid.
He took a shine to me.
I was allowed to love him and even stroke his back!

The other one fell in love with my feet!
He kept going for my toes and nibbling them.
The dog is completely nuts.
Wish I had thought to take some pics of them.
Will ask Wendy to send me some.

A rather fuzzy photo of Cape Town as we came in to land.

I did received some mind boggling news while I was away.
That is fodder for tomorrow’s post.
If I get a chance to post tomorrow.
Work is going to be hectic.

Thank you so much for all the comments of support.
Also, the e-mails.
I really appreciate them all.
