Granny and day five.

Hello All.

Wow what a day.
The sea is full of the most incredible energy today.
I have,also, never seen so many birds in one place.
I have twenty seven photographs.
I won’t show them all to you.
I promise.

We didn’t go to the beach.
Too damn cold and windy.
When we got to the point I let Jasmine out of the car.
Thought I might just stay in the warm car.
Not a chance.
She stood looking at me with her head cocked.
Come old girl…let’s get going.
It is going to take me the rest of the day to defrost.

So my birthday was very quiet.
Which is probably a good thing.
Too much excitement not a good thing at my age!
I’m being sarcastic people.

My friend and her hubby drove an hour to come over for coffee.
Which meant a lot to me.
She also brought me a box of fattening goodies.
Homemade rusks,fudge, some other sweet things, some choccie biscuits and a slab of chocolate.
Hmmmmm…I don’t know whether to love her or hate her.
Oh yes…and a bottle of red wine.

My phone never stopped.
Which was wonderful.
So nice to be remembered.
Even a half hour call from Germany.

My beloved daughter in law forgot.
She phoned this morning.
Full of remorse.
I will be able to milk this for a long time. 🙂
I still love you sweetheart.
You are forgiven.

Now I think I shall go and have a nap.
Because that is a good thing to do when you are on holiday.
